A total of six companies reached the final phase of the Factory of the Year Awards, which Capital organized in partnership with the Municipality of Plovdiv and Trakia Tech as a continuation of the Industry 4.0 initiative.
A total of 24 companies participated in the first stage of the competition, which were evaluated according to objective technological and financial criteria. BTL Industries, Milara International, Mondelez Bulgaria Production, Sensata Technologies, Solvay Sodi and Schneider Electric Bulgaria were the ones with the most points. They will go through an additional interview with the technology consultant and partner of Factory of the Year – Novarto.
The final winner will be selected by an independent jury and will be announced at the awards ceremony on December 8.
The aim of the initiative is to give publicity to good practices in manufacturing enterprises, as well as to encourage more companies to modernize.
