The digital future of the most developed industrial region in Bulgaria – Plovdiv and the areas around it – will be discussed in one of the most significant forums for the IT & BPO sector – “Outsourcing Destination Bulgaria 2016 “.
Plovdiv will host the third annual edition of the Business Forum “Outsourcing Destination Bulgaria 2016”, which will be held on November 22, 2016, Tuesday. The official opening of the event will begin at 10:30 at hall “Plovdiv” Grand Hotel Plovdiv.
“Outsourcing Destination Bulgaria 2016”, whose organizers are Plovdiv Municipality and the research and consulting company “Industry Watch”, continues its successful development and this year will bring together under one roof representatives from the business sector and academia sector, leading consultants and analysts.
The wide region of Thrace, whose heart is Plovdiv, attracts nearly 3.2 billion leva investments in assets each year. New investments in innovation are nearly 50 million levs each year, thanks to the R&D sector, which employs nearly 3500 engineers and scientists. The future of the industry and the economic growth will depend on the close connection of new technological industries with the traditional processing sector – this is one of the themes of this year`s forum.
