First sod of a plant for BGN 40 million in the Trakia Economic Zone

TezFirst sod of a high-tech plant for aluminum profiles for window systems will be made on March 31, at 9am, by the Minister of Economy Lachezar Borisov and Zdravko Linkin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Interlink Group Ltd. The Bulgarian company will invest BGN 39,705,000 in tangible and intangible assets in Industrial Zone Maritsa, part of the Trakia Economic Zone.

The total area is 194,000 square meters / about 200 decares / and according to the project, the first production and storage hall with a total built-up area of ​​22,500 sq. m., will be built by June 30, 2022. In 5-10 years, 3 more manufacturing and storage halls will be built.

Profilink Ltd. will start the production in the new plant, whose investor is the parent company Interlink Group Ltd. The company is in the TOP 10 of European manufacturers of PVC profiles. At the beginning, the modern enterprise will have a capacity of 10,000 tons/ year aluminum profiles, in a fully automated production process. It is estimated that production will start in the period July – September 2022, with 150 new jobs. In terms of its parameters, the Profilink base is emerging as the largest in the sector on the Balkan Peninsula.

The contractor is Sienit Group and the project is entrusted to arch. Georgi Stoyanov, Manager of Architectural Design Studio.

The event will be attended by the Minister of Economy Lachezar Borisov, the Chairman of The Board of Directors of Interlink Group Ltd. Zdravko Linkin, Deputy District Governor Petar Petrov, the mayor of Maritsa Municipality Dimitar Ivanov, the Mayor of Plovdiv Municipality Zdravko Dimitrov, Deputy Mayor of Plovdiv Municipality Stefan Stoyanov, Eng. Plamen Panchev – Founder and Executive Director of Trakia Economic Zone, Yordan Fidanov – Manager of Profilink Ltd. Among the official guests will be Dani Kanazireva, leader in the list of candidate-deputies of GERB – UDF in District Plovdiv, who is currently on leave as District Governor.
